Runner Up Business Woman of the Year

I’m thrilled to share that Unplugged Tots was announced as a finalist in the Business Success Recognition Awards 2025 in the Woman of the Year category—and I’m proud to say I came out as runner-up!

To be recognised in this way is a powerful reminder that play, connection, and compassion in business matter.

I founded Unplugged Tots to help adults build future-ready skills through screen-free moments. Being shortlisted tells me that purpose-led businesses—especially those rooted in care, children, and creativity—deserve a seat at the table. I’m so proud to be part of a community that sees and celebrates that.

It was an incredible honour to be recognised alongside so many inspiring women leading their businesses with heart and vision. Stacey Calder and the team at the Business Success Recognition Awards judged over 500 entries nationwide, proving that small, purposeful businesses are making a big impact.

While I didn’t take the top spot, being runner-up is a meaningful milestone—it validates the mission behind Unplugged Tots and reminds me that every screen-free moment, every activity, and every connection matters.

Here’s to celebrating more creativity, play, and purpose in business! It’s even better to celebrate it with friends!
