About Hannah Hagon
Hannah Hagon is a UK-based mother, author and founder of Unplugged Tots - a pioneering program that helps young children build essential skills for a digital world through screen-free, play-based activities. Designed for children aged 2½ to 8, her approach nurtures critical thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning, all without the need for screens or even alphabetical knowledge.
Hannah’s mission is rooted in a belief that early learning should be joyful, hands-on, and developmentally rich. By engaging young minds through open-ended play, she empowers children to become curious, adaptable, and confident thinkers - laying the groundwork for future success in any field, tech-related or not.
Her upcoming book by the same name, Unplugged Tots, offers a thoughtfully curated set of activities that introduce computational thinking in age-appropriate, screen-free ways. Ideal for both home and classroom use, the activities promote meaningful learning moments while encouraging creativity and connection.
Through workshops, speaking events, and collaborations with schools and nurseries, Hannah also supports educators and families in striking a healthy balance with technology. Her work fosters environments where children thrive - learning not just how to code, but how to think.
